The Norfolk!

The 10/11th January saw the inaugural outing of The Norfolk, a new shoot format from the crazy minds of Chris, David and Deb – basically three archery obsessed people with too much time in the car. Many hours of work went into designing and creating something new and different with the aim to bring a fun alternative shoot to the calendar.

The shoot had a little something for everyone, it had individual competition, team competition, crazy faces, hit miss, music, dancing, a duck! There were even custom made medals designed by a junior archer in the club.

On the Saturday we had the individual day, where archers competed within their bowstyle as an open category, only separated as senior/junior. Results are attached here

On the Sunday we had the team day, where teams of 3 archers competed within their bowstyle, no age or gender division. Results for this are attached here

We really appreciate the strong attendance for the first running of this shoot, and also everyone who took the time to leave us feedback afterwards to help us to improve the shoot for next year. We are pleased to say the feedback was very positive overall, with most enjoying the shoot and the new format.

A few pictures are below, if you want to find out more, you’ll have to enter next years!
